Okay so lets get started. My name is Domino and right now this is the closest thing I’ve got to journalism. This blog contains basically everything, hence its title: Everyting Et al. In case you’re wondering, Et al is some sort of foreign language abbreviation that means “and all the rest.” It’s a joke…get it?
So for my first post lets start off with a great tragedy. I was rejected. Full on, whole-heartedly rejected. So I think. There’s this (there was this) girl, her name was Sarah (not really, but from now on I’m changing names). We used to go the to same High School until she left halfway through grad 8. But she still remained friends with one of my friends, which I was unaware of until the beginning of this year.Anyway the point of the matter is that she gave me her number about a month ago when I unexpectedly ran into her at a bus stop one morning. We did the small talk thing and then I got her number. So yeah I didn’t text her for a month. I know; heartless right? I sent the completely wrong message. So now I’ve screwed it up.

I texted her yesterday afternoon, I was like: “Hey Sarah soz about the late txting, how ur holidays been?”
She replied with: “Hey my holidays have been great what about yours?”
I sent back: “Yea not too bad, lots of sleeping in and spending money, I’ve spent 250 so far lol.”
Then nothing. Complete and utter rejection. THIS ISN’T HOW IT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!!! It was supposed to be oh yea great wanna see a movie? Yeah sure, then I ask her out and I finally have a girlfriend!! But no. It’d didn’t happen. So I’m currently sitting around thinking what do I do? Do I text her? Do I text her asap? Do I wait a couple of weeks? Do I wait for her to text me? Do I never text her again? I have no clue, and I fear that I never will. Bugger.
That’s it for today; now you know as much as I know.
Domino.
You know a lot of guys make this mistake, you should never wait longer than a week for the first message. Two or three days is perfect. That was a bit of a mistake coz now she thinks your not that interested. You can fix it though.
I think she didn’t reply to your second message because you didn’t ask her anything. You gave her a closed message with nowhere for her to move on to. See, she asked you a question which means she kept it open for you to reply, she was encouraging you.
You should mes her again in a couple of days but ask her how she is, what she’s been up to, is she free on whichever day.. give her something to work with.
Apart from that, nice first post & welcome to the blogosphere!
